Flip Album
This little mini album was fun to do. I did this one in chocolate brown and blues. The flowers were cut out on my Cricut and inked with chocolate brown ink, some have buttons and some have a small brad. There is enough space for up to 7 photos and several spots for journaling. I added a piece of chocolate brown satin ribbon for a closure. The sentiment on the front cover was also cut out on my Cricut. This album was alot of fun and very easy to make. This link will take you to The Diva Stamper where you will find a tutorial to make one for yourself. Enjoy your day and see ya soon.

Saint Patricks Purse Album
This is an album that I made for a friend that gets together with a group of her friends. I made seven of these, each one has something that pertains to the person that is getting it. I had alot of fun making these, they were so easy to do.
The first picture is of the purse closed up showing the front of the purse.
The are two pockets that holds a pull out for pictures on each side.
There is a spot for journaling and two more spots for photos.
The third picture is a close up of the paper pieced bear that I
made. He is holding a shamrock. He is just so adorable.
Well I hope you enjoyed my share today,
come back tomorrow and see what else I have

Tragedy in our Small Town
I don't have a project to share today, but I do have a very sad story. I live in a small town in Northern New York, where a tragedy has fallen. On Sunday January 3rd at around 3am a fire broke out and killed a family of 8. The family consisted of 4 adults and 4 children ranging in age from only 4 months to 10 years. The house was completely destroyed. All that is left is a pile of ash and debris. The only survivor was the owner of the house that had made it safely outside, but then had to be restrained by the police and but in handcuffs to keep him from going back in to save the rest of his family. There was nothing that anyone could do but watch as the fire swept through the house, knowing that there were people inside. Even though the fire department had arrived in less than a minute the house was already engulfed. Several of the fireman knew the people that lived in this home and could do nothing. They could only fight the fire from the outside hoping that just maybe they would be able to get it under control and rescue the trapped occupants. But with heavy hearts they watched as the house collapsed onto its self. The news has been in are small town for days reporting the disaster. There is one thing that I almost forgot to tell. The house had no working smoke detectors, if it had they may have been saved.
Today they layed to rest 4 of the family members. Two of the adults and the two youngest victims. I watched on the news how family and friends showed up to pay their last respects to the victims. Many of them wanting to know why this happened and how it happened. So please if you get anything from this tragedy, let it be that you make sure that your smoke detectors are working properly. And if for some reason you don't have any, this will make you go out and buy some. I know that I checked mine and made sure that the battery was brand new. I will also be going out and buying a few more just to be safe.
Please send your prayers and be safe.

Paper Bag Album
machine for a few of the flowers. I added buttons to the flowers, which I just love doing, and added ribbon to a few of the pages. A few of the pages also have hidden journal boxes on them. I have a few more pages to do and then I can take it to her. I will be making a lot more of these in the near future, they are really easy and fun to do. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrapping to you all.
Have a Very Merry Christmas. I will be back after the holiday.

Bingo with our local Seniors
On Sat. December 13th my son's cub scout troop went to our local senior resident and played bingo with the seniors. The boys each made a dozen home made cookies and other goodies. Everyone there had a wonderful time. These are a few of our residents that joined us.

My son, Zachary and my daughter, Danielle, handing out the treats that we made. The basket was to heavy for my son to carry so he had his sister help him out. They had so much fun. Each person that received a treat was very impressed with them. The picture to the right is the boxes we made. We put hershey nugget chocolates in each box and stamped letters on them to spell out HO HO HO. Each box contained 6 pieces.
Here is my son calling out those winning numbers. He is not a very outgoing child and I was very suprised to see him jump at the chance to call some numbers. We had many prizes to hand out the the scouts had made.
Thanks for stopping bye and have a wonderful week.

Baby's 1st Christmas Layout

Here is a cute little layout that I did for my friends grandson. This was so easy and fun to do. I cut out a bunch of cirles and was able to paper piece this cute little bear. I also cut out the tree and the present and paper pieced them as well. On the tree I added some glass beads to give it some dimension. I cut out the letters and added some highlights to make them pop. All the images I cut out on my Cricut (my best friend in scrapping). I now have to do another one for my own granddaughter.
Pleas stop back and I hope you enjoy my items that I have worked very hard to make.
Merry Christmas
Kim
