Baby Boy Layout

Today's share is a layout that I did for a friends daughter, who just had a baby boy. I just love the way it turned out. This was so easy to do. It's an 8x8 layout with a few stamped images, a photo mat and a couple of tags for some journaling. I just love the colors, and the chocolate brown card stock just makes everything pop even more.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you come again. I will be adding more as the days go by.

Baby Shower Favor

Good day everyone, sorry for my tardieness, but just had to go over and see my new granddaughter this morning. When it comes to her everything else can wait.
Todays project that I am sharing is one that I did for my DD's baby shower. I cased this from a blog that I go to regularly - Chic n' Scratch - she has a wonderful site, I just love everything that she shares. This is a nugget box, the one that I found only held three, so I had to figure out how to get it to hold six. This way I could spell out my granddaughter's name on them. I just love the pink and chocolate brown combination, isn't it amazing. Then I inked the dp and added a ribbon for a cute little touch.
Thanks for stopping by and come back again.

My first project to share!

Good morning everyone, and welcome back to my blog. Today I would like to share a project that I made for a friend out in Indiana. I had alot of fun making this and it was so easy. Its an explosion box. This first picture is the front of the box. I was inspired by the fall colors for this box. I have a large tree in my front yard that when in full fall bloom it is amazing.

The second photo is the top of the box. I layered 3 flowers added a button to the middle of each one and inked the edges of the petals. You can see the leaves on the ground and they almost match exactly the colors that I used on the box.

The third photo is the box opened up to show the pages inside. I added more layed flowers with buttons and inked edges, and I also added some ribbon with buttons. The middle pages have tabs on them to help flip to see the last set of pages.

The last picture is of the tree that gave me inspiration for this box. The picture doesn't do it justice, it is alot more brilliant in color in person.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my first project. I hope you will return and view future projects that I create. Have a wonderful day and Happy Scrapping!!!
