Altered Jar!!

I have been trying to get into altering items and have found that it is alot of fun to take something and turn it into something beautiful!!  Here is a few pics of an item that I altered for a swap.  Its a jar and its filled with goodies!!  I had alot of fun making this and it didn't take me very long at all.

I used pattern paper to wrap the jar and glued a pearl strand to the bottom.  On the lid I glued a double layer of lace and pearl trim, added 3 flowers and made a pearl dangle as a center point.

The top of the lid I layered several different flowers and added some pearl trim.  I really like how this came out.  As you can see in the last picture it is filled with goodies.  I hope my partner likes it!!

Thanks for stopping and come visit again!!  Happy Scrapping!!

Hi everyone!  I haven't posted in a while so I thought I would show you a few things I have created in the last few weeks.  I have been very busy with doing swaps and creating projects for challenges.  Its also summer so not spending much time on the weekends creating.

This project I am posting pictures of was for a challenge on My Scrap Room.  It was alot of fun and I used up a bunch of scraps.  The paper line is from G45 Curtain Call.  The flowers are I am Roses and Wild Orchid Crafts.  I inked them with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo.  The lace and pearl string I got from my local AC Moore Store.  I just love how it turned out.  It was so easy and quick to make.  Start to finish not quite 2 hrs.  I am thinking about making a small mini to go inside.  But I think I need to buy more paper lol...  Well thanks for stopping and looking.  Check back soon for more projects.  Thanks and Happy Scrapping!!! :)

Dangle Charms and Tags!

Its been a while since I have posted.  I have been busy and here are a few pics to show what I have been doing.  These are dangle charms that I have made along with tags to hold them.  I made all but a few of the flowers.  The little pink rose buds I got from a swap, and the same with the cream colored ones.  All the beads came from my stash and I got them at, you won't believe it, but a dollar store.  I got a bracelet, necklace and pair of earrings for a dollar!!!  They had several different colors, so of course I bought a few of them, lol...  The charms them selves I got from Bohemianfindings@etsy, they were real inexpensive and they have alot of really nice ones.  I will be going back and getting some different ones soon I hope.  These were alot of fun to make and very easy to do.   I hope to be posting more very soon.  Thanks for stopping by and have a Scrappy Day!!

This album I have created for a customer. I used the binding system from Laura Denison's, Stack the Deck, love this system. I used alot of new techniques in this album, that I have wanted to try. I did some embossing, tearing, and misting in this album. All the flowers I have created myself with some punches. Thanks for looking!! :) You can see more of this album at LSH(Little Scraps of Heaven) or on my facebook page KreationsbyKimber

This album was created for a customer. It was given as a baby shower gift. I paper line I used was "Cheekee Monkey" from The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby. This is a very cute paper line. The tags, photo mats, and the monkey paper piecings were created with my cricut. I added ribbon, buttons, and tags from Tim Holtz. I also cut some of the leaves from the paper to use as accents.
The binding system is from, Laura Denisons "Stack the Deck" series. I have done several albums with this binding system. Thanks for looking. Happy Scrapping!
