I made this little altered canvas with my granddaughters photo in it. The canvas measures about 4x4. I attached a piece of seam binding to the back and made a bow at the top and attached a small WOC flower so that the canvas can be hung up. All the flowers are from WOC's. The laces are from Lavish Laces and the pearl trim came from my stash. The metal butterfly, that I whitewashed, came from Butter Bee Scraps. I also white washed around the photo and canvas. The canvas I painted blue and then took vintage white paint and streaked it to give it a cook effect. The rosette trim under the gardenia flower also came from Lavish Laces. I also added a crystal bead spray that I also white washed. I love how this came together. I wanted to use mostly blues and have a hint of pink flowers to bring out the pink in the photo.
